Q:
I have heard that the AardSync II will make my A/D converters and Pro Tools sound better, why is this true?
A:
When an A/D converter or Pro Tools 888/24 references the AardSync II's ultra low-jitter clock, it will sample the analog audio wave more accurately than when referencing to its own internal clock. This improvement in accuracy of A/D conversion results in:
* increased clarity and definition between instruments * better high and low end response * much improved stereo imaging and separation between instruments in a mix * elimination of digital "harshness" and a sound much more pleasing to the ears, much like analog tape should sound.
