Q:
What type of processor do I need to run Pro Tools HD on Windows?
A:
You will need to use an Intel PIII or P4 with an Intel chipset. Digidesign recommends Pentium-4 chips with the Intel 850 or 860 chipsets. Intel 845 chipsets have been known to cause performance and system failures with some TDM systems.
