Q:
When I boot up ADAT/Edit, it says that it is 48K in the SYNCHRONIZATION page but my ADAT changes to 44.1. Why?
A:
This is a known issue that is currently being investigated. When opening an empty song, neither RECORD nor PLAYBACK drivers have yet been opened, so the program does not actually open at 48KHz. To work around this, either open a LogicSong that has files in it, or follow this procedure: RECORD ARM a track in ADAT/Edit. Click PLAY then STOP. The program is now at 48KHz. If an ADAT is connected via 9 pin sync cable (with PCR as MASTER) you can verify this by looking at the ADAT's SAMPLE RATE display.
