USB3 Troubleshooting for Mac and PC : My inputs work, but they are not recorded by my audio software
A:
First, check to make sure the input select switch is in the appropriate position. If changing the input selector switch does not solve the problem, then the audio software you are using may have a different device assigned to record and play back audio. Even if you do not have another sound card installed, many programs require that you explicitly designate the USB3 as the preferred recording and playback device before it will work in the program.
