Peak Indicators on the Mbox may light when the computer goes to sleep. Additionally, be sure to turn off Mbox's 48V Phantom Power when the computer is in sleep mode. Optimally , set the computers Energy Saver Control Panel to "Never" so the Mac wont go to sleep. We recommend NOT putting the Mac to sleep with the Mbox.
