1. Once you have your track with Insert FX the way you like it in Digital Performer, solo it.

2. Choose "Bounce to Disk" from the Audio Menu.

3. Select "Split Stereo" for "Channels" if this is a Stereo Track. If it is a Mono track like a Vocal , etc., Choose "Mono (No Attenuation) ", Keep the same "Resolution" as your current session , and then choose "Add to Soundbites Window" for "import" and set your "output source" to match the stereo pair your monitoring your Mix from. Also give the file a name. Hit OK and let the file bounce.

4. When done , find and select the bounced file in the Soundbites Window in DP. (Windows Menu>Soundbites). Click on its "name" to select it.

5. Bring the track back into DP by dragging it from the soundbites window into a new Audio Track in the "Track Overview" window, where you see your other wave forms. (See manual on how to create a new Audio Track if needed).

6. That's it! Now you can delete the original track that has all of the plugins inserted and get back of bunch of DSP to use on other tracks.
