Q:
System crash when I have two drives (8.5GB) connected to the ATTO card. Either one on its own works fine, but as soon as I connect them in a chain one crashes. This happens Pro Tools as well as when I just copy data from one to the other in the Finder.
A:
For one customer this behavior was caused due to each drive being set to different Sync Rates in the ATTO EPT utility. Needless to say, setting them to the identical sync rate setting resolved the issue.
