Q:
I want to synchronize the unit to MIDI clock because my sequencer doesn't support MTC (MIDI Time Code), but I am not sure how to do this.
A:
Follow these steps to synchronize the unit to MIDI clock:
1. Connect the AW4416/AW2816's MIDI OUT connector to the MIDI IN connector of the device you want to synchronize. 2. For AW4416: Go to the MIDI Sync screen ([MIDI] + [F2]) and set the Sync OUT parameter to "MIDI CLOCK". For AW2816: Go to the MIDI Setup 2 screen ([MIDI] + [F2]) and set MIDI CLOCK ROUTING to "ON". 3. Go to the Tempo Map screen ([Song] + [F4]) and set the METER and the TEMPO. Here you can set meter and tempo changes within a song. 4. Set the MIDI clock of the device you want to synchronize to "External Clock
