Q:
MAC: MIDI interface not recognized
A:
Product: UNITOR8, AMT8, MT4
Version: 5.3.0 Description: An Emagic MIDI interface ist not found under Mac OS X. Under Mac OS 9 it works perfectly. Explanation: In Mac OS X there are two possible paths for MIDI drivers: 1. System HD/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers 2. SystemHD/Users/%username%/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers The Emagic installer installs the MIDI-driver under the first path. If this driver has been moved to second possible path. and the installer is then run again, there are two drivers in the system. This might result in the System/Logic not finding the interface. Solution: Please make sure that there in only one driver for the interface installed.
