Q:
The fan on my new "Mirror" Mac is on full blast all the time and is very loud.
A:
Restart the mac and hold the Programers button in. This will start you up in "Open Firmware".
Here you can type "reset-all" (without the quotes) and hit return.Now the mac will boot up with all of the stock firmware settings restored.
