Why can't I hear the notes I'm playing into Finale? They appear on the screen but do not play as I am adding them.

Check to make sure under the MIDI menu that "Midi Thru" is turned on. You may want to set it to Auto to make life easier.

Also, go to MIDI - MIDI setup and make sure your MIDI input and output device are selected properly.
