Q:
Is iTunes and Disc Burner Compatibile with Toast
A:
This information applies to Toast Titanium 5.X
This information applies to the following Operating System(s): Mac OS 8.6, Mac OS 9.X, Mac OS 10.X - For Mac OS 8.6 and 9.X: Toast is compatible with Apple's recording software. However if Apple's extensions are controlling the CD Recorder, they will not allow Toast to access it. If you disable USB Authoring Support and Firewire Authoring Support, Toast will be able to see the recorder.Starting with Toast 5.0.1, Toast will also allow Apples recording software to access the recorder as well. NOTE: If you install iTunes or Disc Burner (or update them) after you install the Toast Titanium 5.0.1 Updater, use Extensions Manager to disable ""USB Authoring Support"" and ""FireWire Authoring Support"". - For Mac OS X: Because the operating system now controls recorders, any drive that the operating system can control should be available in any recording application.his means that iTunes, DiskBurner, and Toast will all work without conflicting with one another.
