Q:
After installing Phrazer 2, Digital Performer unexpectedly quits (often with an error type 12).
A:
An extensions conflict has been discovered on some systems with DP3 and Phrazer 2 installed. Bitheadz is working on an updated for Phrazer to correct this problem.
To remedy this extensions conflict until the Phrazer update is available, you'll need to have two separate extensions sets. We recommend choosing the Mac OS 9.2.2 BASE set, and duplicating it. For the "Phrazer" extensions set, turn only only the Phrazer extensions. Restart to make this new set active. Follow the same steps of duplicating the Mac OS 9.2.2 BASE set for Digital Performer. This time, leave Phrazer extensions off, and turn on only FreeMIDI and MOTU extensions (plus any third party drivers for plugins or hardware).
