Q:
I pulled the application Digital Performer out of the Digital Performer folder. Now I my control surface won't work, the Control Surface Setup window is all garbled, and I can't push any buttons.
A:
Digital Performer can't find the control surface plugins if it's been moved out of the Digital Performer folder (where you'll notice that the Plugins folder which contains control surface plugins is located). Place the application back in the folder it came from, and relaunch DP. The control surface setup should work again.
If you'd like to have easier access to DP, make an Alias of the application, and move the alias to where you'd like it.
