Q:
How do I load (from the smart card) more than 2 songs for live playback?
A:
If you have a number of songs on either different All, All Song or SMF files and you want to combine them together and load them all at once, here is how.
Go to File, F3 Load. Set Song as the File Type and select the first song you want to load. Press enter and Motif will allow you to select what song number you want to load that song to. Let's say you select Song 1. Now select another song to load, you can insert another card if necessary or just search through other files on the card you already inserted. After selecting the next song to load press Enter and select a different Song number to load the song to. Let's say Song 2. Now in the memory of Motif you will have two songs in Song 1 and 2. You can check to see they playback correctly in Song mode. Press File Mode again and F2 Save. Select All Song as the file type, Cursor down into the Name field and name your file. Then press Enter and yes. You have now complied several songs together into one All Song file. When you want to play these songs back, go to File Load and select All Song as the file type and load the file
