Q:
What kind of RAM does the the Esynth use?
A:
The Esynth uses72 pin SIMM4Q, SIMM16Q, or SIMM64E - 8 or 9 bit 70uS or faster - stock machine is 4 meg possible configurations and how to get there - These is also a 64 meg sound ROM card - If you have the ROM card installed you can only access 64 meg of RAM - There is a software that will allow you to disable the ROM card to access athe full 128 meg of sample RAM - there are only 2 SIMM slots
4 meg = (1) Simm4Q 8 meg = (2) Simm4Q 16meg = (1) Simm16Q 20meg = (1) Simm 16Q and (1) Simm4Q 32meg = (2) Simm16Q 64meg = (1) SIMM64E 72meg = (1) simm16Q and (1) SIMM64E 128meg = (2) SIMM64E
