Does the Firestation ADAT I/O support S/PDIF optical?

NO. The ADAT input/output does not support optical S/PDIF. Optical S/PDIF is characterized by utilizing two channels, rather than eight. S/PDIF is carried by a pair of coaxial (RCA-style) plugs on the breakout cable.
