It is a very simple program that sends out a MIDI signal to a port you select, and through a simple MIDI cable hooked to a MIDI output and MIDI input on your computer, it checks to see if the MIDI information gets back into the input, thus testing input and output of MIDI. Within the program you can select your MIDI in/out and then connect a cable between the in and out to test MIDI.
