This command applies to audio monitoring during recording and punch-in. It is available on TDM equipped Pro Tools systems only.With this option enabled, when audio playback is stopped, Pro Tools monitors the audio input. When playback is engaged for a punch in, Pro Tools monitors the audio already on disk - up until the punch point. Then, at the punch point, the input signal is monitored. On punch out, monitoring switches back to the audio on disk. This is similar to the auto-switching logic found on digital and analog multi-track machines.
