How to use the SSD Setup program to Update the SMPTE Slave Driver.

Updating the firmware in the SSD might be necessary if the SSD is not behaving correctly. To update the firmware:1) Turn off or disconnect any SMPTE Signal being sent to the SSD SMPTE Input.2) Launch the SSD Setup program and select Update from the Options menu.3) Power Cycle the SSD (turn it off, then back on) while holding down one of the front panel buttons. (The 44.1kHz and Calibrate LEDs should be blinking. This indicates the SSD is in Update mode.)4) Click OK. (The software will send new firmware to the SSD. When the firmware update is complete, the unit will go back to its normal operating mode.)
