Pro Tools (3.2 or earlier) randomly drops out of record or playback when Online.
 
A:
This was tracked down to SysAxe INIT 1.0 and A/ROSE 1.1.6 being installed. Pro Tools needs SysAxe 2.37 or later and A/ROSE 1.2 or later.

• Pro Tools session window comes up partially off-screen. Resizing the window, saving, and reopening session doesn't help.
• Pro Tools skips, glitches when Online and sending MTC to an OMS sequencer on the IAC bus.
• Pro Tools (SysAxe) icon changes from "Pro-Loading" to "Pro-Error", and/or is crossed out (red X) when booting the Mac.
• Pro Tools will not start recording when typing the command and spacebar keys simultaneously. Using the mouse in the transport window (rec, play) works.
• Pro Tools won't lock to timecode (MTC, SMPTE). It triggers, but won't stay Online.
