Q:
Pro Tools won't lock to timecode (MTC, SMPTE). It triggers, but won't stay Online.
A:
- 1/4 second or more of bad or missing timecode.- Check the SMPTE level to the LTC/MTC converter.- Allow for 5-10 seconds of preroll.- Bad SMPTE source.- Verify SMPTE start time with the current session.- MIDI Manager installed, but not configured correctly.
