If you use Word Clock Input as your sync signal and you then power the VSD off and on, the unit may go into a latch up state and won't be able to find the Word Clock sync signal again (Sync Present & System Lock lights won't come on). The way to get the unit reset is to unplug the Word Clock Input cable and plug it back in again. This will reset the "lock up" state which occurs.
