Q:
When dragging a region out in Spot Mode the message "Timecode is not available" will appear, or when clicking on a region in a track while in Spot Mode the message "Timecode exceeds Session" will appear.
A:
This will happen when Pro Tools is set to Auto Spot mode and there is no timecode being fed to Pro Tools.De-select Options>Auto-Spot Regions (cmd-P). After you drag a region into the edit window, the Spot-Window will appear.
