Q:
When exporting an OMFI composition only to go to Pro Tools using OMF Tool 1.12 it would give a very fast progress bar and the resulting folder would contain no Pro Tools session file - he seemed to be doing everything correctly.
A:
When OMF Tool 2.0 was used on this same session, a message saying there was an "incompatible edit rate" appeared. This was due to the fact that the Composer project was a video project (30fps), they had accidentally digitized the audio with the pulldown switch at .99, so the resulting audio was not 44.1, it was 44056.Many people still use the earlier version of the OMF Tool, so they will not always see an error message when this happens.
