What are the proper settings for an Adaptec PD 2940 SCSI card for configuration with PT24 ?
 
A:
"Ultra SCSI" should be enabled, unless the user experiences bus errors or PCI bandwidth errors."Wide Negotiation" should be enabled.Available transfer speeds are 10, 13, 16 or 20 Mhz, and you should select the highest speed (20Mhz). If the drive doesn't support it, it will negotiate for a speed it can handle.As with Ultra SCSI, if there are persistent problems, reduce the speed to 10Mhz.
