Q:
DAE error -36 is thrown when initiating or during playback with the drive connected to an ATTO card. Drives are showing no problems on the Mac SCSI Bus.Sometimes Pro Tools crashes or the computer doesn't boot at all.
A:
This can be caused by a problem in the Mac PRAM or in the ATTO Firmware. Also check cables and termination.- Zap the PRAM (cmd-opt-P-R).- Run EPCI Updater 1.3.3 or higher and reload the ATTO Firmware.
