Q:
"One or more mixer channels or sends could not be created because the required DSP is not available" After doing a Bounce to Disk, using Waves Plug-Ins.
 
A:
In this case the customer was doing a bounce to disk with a Waves L-1 on the Master fader, part way through the bounce the audio cut off. Every session we opened after that would post this message, and there was no audio output. Trashing the Waves prefs resolved this.
