Q:
How is the s/pdif input different on the Audiomedia III card with Pro Tools LE and DigiSystem INIT 5.0?
A:
DSI 5.0 splits up the inputs on the AMIII card so you can access all 4 inputs (2 analog, 2 digital) simultaneously. The I/O assignments pop-up within Pro Tools LE 5.0 reflects this by giving you 4 discreet input choices. This modification requires you to only have to specify your clock reference (sync mode) from within the Session Setup window.
