Q:
After installing Pro Tools, the CD Player in my Mac doesn't play.
A:
With OS 9.x, booting up with the Digi Output Driver selected as a sound output source doesn't allow the Apple CD player to play.In order to play a CD, one must select Built In and then restart. A restart is not necessary with OS 8.6This is a known issue with Pro Tools 5.01
