Q:
Where ADAT Bridge is not the first audio interface, audio is garbled and noisy when transferred via optical cables from the ADAT Bridge to the ADAT deck and vice versa.
A:
Assuming sync modes are set correctly for the direction of the transfer, a missing or insufficient Slave Clock cable can cause this. Make sure Group A reads "slave" on the ADAT Bridge, and/or try a different BNC cable.
