Why can't I see more of my synth patches in my sequencer?
A:
OMS has preset program data files that it refers to when publishing patch name information to sequencing applications. OMS does not look to the synth to see what program names are in memory, but instead uses the preset files it has when you choose the particular synth name when setting up device info in OMS Studio Setup. To add more names to the lists OMS uses, a third-party librarian application is required or one must use the OMS Names application (included on the Pro Tools installer CD-ROM) to manually add program names.
