Q:
You're getting either distortion or intermittent peaks on channel 1 of your ADAT
A:
The odds seem to be either a sync cable (BNC) that's to long (over 3 feet) or just bad. 3 feet seems to be the maximum before your troubles begin. Also make sure the light pipe cables are in correctly. The BRC comes with a BNC cable that is about 25 feet in length. This cable is the source of the problem for many users.
