Q:
I am upgrading from Pro Tools LE 5.0 to Pro Tools LE 5.0.1. I installed the demo plug-ins from the 5.0.1 installer but it says that they are expired when I launch Pro Tools.
A:
The demo plug-ins are the same version and employ the same type of copy protection (supplemental: they reference the same invisible file that is written to the drive) as the Pro Tools 5.0 CD-ROM. If you have already installed them with PT LE 5.0, you will not get another 30 day trial period.

"this demo copy of ... has expired." How do I make it so I don't see this error anymore? I keep getting the message, "This copy of AVOption requires authorization. Please insert the key disk...". What is AVOption? How do I record a MIDI track as an audio track? Why is there a small amount of delay while monitoring audio when I am recording? After I installed Pro Tools Free, Pro Tools TDM or Pro Tools LE does not launch. |
