Can I use third party apps Like Acid or Sound Forge with my Digi hardware?

Yes. The Digidesign d24/MIX Wave Driver is a 2-channel, multimedia wave driver for Digidesign's Pro Tools d24 and Pro Tools 24 MIX cards. This wave driver allows third-party audio applications to utilize Digidesign hardware for 2-channel recording and/or playback. The driver is also required for auditioning audio files in the SampleCell Editor when Pro Tools hardware is used in conjunction with SampleCell.
