How to tell the difference between the older, 80 pin Digidesign 13 slot Expansion Chassis and the newer 68 pin Digidesign 13 slot Expansion Chassis (both manufactured by Magma).
A:
* 80 PIN CHASSIS *Facing the front, the power supply is on the right and the controller card is on the left. Slots are numbered 4 to 16, left to right. Serial number is lower than NB0600100C.* 68 PIN CHASSIS *Facing the front, the power supply is on the right as well as the controller card. Slots are arranged in two busses, slots 4-10 and slots 4-9 respectively, right to left. Serial number is NB0600100C or higher.
