Q:
Getting DAE error 39 when doing a Bounce To Disk.

A:
DAE errors are generally made up of four digits, so this is most likely an operating system error being reported by DAE.-Increasing the Minimum memory setting for DAE and/or Pro Tools, can cause this. Find both of those applications, highlight them and do a "Get Info". Select the Memory page and set the Minimum to "0" (zero), then hit the Enter key. That should reset the numbers back to the default. The Pro Tools application should be in the Pro Tools folder inside of the Digidesign folder. The DAE application should be in the DAE folder inside of the System Folder.-Rebuild the desktop file of the computer. This is done by restarting the computer while holding down [Option]+[Apple/Command] while booting up. When a window comes up asking if you want to rebuild your desktop, click the "Yes" button for all the drives that the prompt comes up for.-High Disk Cache settings can possibly cause this. Go to the Memory control panel, and make sure the Disk Cache is set to 512K.
