Q:
When I playback my QuickTime movie after I Bounce to Movie from Pro Tools, all I get is the audio and no video.
A:
This can be caused by the original movie not being in QuickTime format.1)Open original movie into QuickTime player2)Under the MOVIE menu select GET INFO3)Under the "Movie" pop up menu in the "Movie Info" window check to see that "Video Track" shows up. If anything other (i.e. Flash Track or MPEG Track) then it needs to be converted The following steps can be executed in QuickTime Pro only4)Select FILE>EXPORT 5)select "Movie to QuickTime Movie" and choose the compression scheme that you would like (i.e. 1X CD-ROM (Cinepak Video))6)Rename your movie and click "Save"7) Import your new movie into a Pro Tools sessionWhen you select "Bounce to Movie", your bounced movie will playback the video track as well.
