"Unable to create DAE deck" on launch of Pro Tools LE when Pro Tools FREE has been previously installed on the system.
A:
If Pro Tools FREE was previously installed, check the version of the DAE to verify that it is not the PT FREE DAE version. Using the PT FREE DAE with Pro Tools LE will result in the "Unable to create DAE deck" error message. The Pro Tools LE 5.0.1 installer will not overwrite the PT Free DAE with the 5.0.1 DAE and must be swapped out manually.
