Pro Audio Support

Q:
"Error could not write to disk" when attempting to process an audio file originally digitized/created in Post Conform, in Pro Tools with an AudioSuite plug-in.

A:
Post Conform doesn't know to disallow certain characters in filenames that Pro Tools hates. When this happens you can't run an AudioSuite process on the file (error could not write to disk) though otherwise it seems to work fine in your session. We know the characters : and ; are problematic. The workaround is to renaming the file within the session or use bounce to disk to create a new file.
