Q:
In the DigiRack Plug-Ins Guide, it reads:"The Limiter II's ratio is internally set to 100:1, and the Attack time is automatically set to 0 milliseconds."-If that is the case, why is the lowest value for the Attack setting .10ms?
A:
-This information is incorrect. The DigiRack Dynamics II Limiter is not a Maxim or Waves UltraMaximizer style limiting plug-in. In other words, the Limiter II algorithm has no look-ahead capability to protect from overs. Without this feature the DigiRack Limiter functions much like a typical analog limiter.-If we did in fact change the limiter's UI to allow for a zero attack, it would most likely create artifacts in the audio.
