Pro Audio Support

Q:
Wave files created on a Mac and transferred to PC are not recognized by PC audio application.

A:
Most audio applications on the PC need a ".wav " extension in the filename to identify the file as a .wav file. When ".wav" file format is set in the Conversion Options of the Bounce to Disk dialog or Export Selected as Files dialog, Pro Tools does not add the ".wav" suffix to the resulting file. This must be done by the user so that the PC audio software can properly identify the file.
