What is Pro Tools 5.1cs2 for in the Beta/Bug Fix Software folder on the Pro Tools 5.1 installer CD?
 
A:
Sessions with large OMS Studio Setups and/or many MIDI tracks present may open very slowly and slow down CPU performance. The cs3 beta version of Pro Tools 5.1 addresses this problem. Please note that this is beta software and has not been tested as thoroughly as the retail version, so use with caution.
