In Soft SampleCell 3.0, samples can only be saved as 24-bit files. There is no provision for saving samples in 16-bit format even if they were loaded onto a hardware SampleCell card in 16-bit format (they get dithered down from 24-bit).

This is a known issue for Soft SampleCell 3.0.
