1.Place the Axis Panner personality file into the Controllers folder. The Controllers folder is located in the System/DAE folder.2. Launch the Axis software applet. Choose preferences from the edit menu. Place a check mark next to 'Use Gallery Joystick'. Note - the Axis panner applet needs to be launched before launching Pro Tools.3. Launch Pro Tools while keeping the Axis applet running in the background. Choose Peripherals from the Pro Tools Setups menu and then choose the MIDI Controllers tab. Choose Axis Panner from the 'Type' pulldown menu and then choose OK.4. Go back to the Axis Applet and choose preferences. You will now be able to set various Pro Tools functions to the buttons on the Axis panner.5. You should now be able to use the Gallery Axis Panner to control the Pro Tools surround panner.
