Q:
I cannot route audio into Pro Tools from a Soft Synth (Soft SampleCell) via DirectConnect despite all the correct settings.
A:
Make sure the Aux track you are using as the DirectConnect input has an input source specified (doesn't matter which one you use) - otherwise the audio doesn't get routed in to the Pro Tools mixer.
