Q:
What are the SCSI requirements for digitizing video with AVoption|XL?
A:
AVoption|XL requires the ATTO EPCI-DC card for audio and video recording. The ATTO Express PCI Dual Channel Ultra-2 LVD SCSI HBA card (EPCI-UL2D) is required in addition to the EPCI-DC card for 2:1 or 1:1 video recording and playback. Compression ratios of 3:1 or higher can be done with only the EPCI-DC card. Check digidesign.com for additional SCSI controller compatibility as this information is subject to change.
