Q:
Why doesn't Digitranslator 1.0 recognize sessions created by Pro Tools 5.1 and higher? How can I convert a 5.1 or higher Pro Tools session to OMF?
A:
Digitranslator 1.0 was created before the release of Pro Tools 5.1 and does not recognize the newer file type. Use the Save Session Copy In function in Pro Tools 5.1 or higher to save a copy of the session in 5.0 format. Digitranslator 2.0 is an option that is integrated directly into Pro Tools 5.1.3 software and does allow direct OMF export of 5.1.3 sessions.
