Q:
Why am I getting the message "disk 1 is not the right disk" or "disk 1 can't be read" when installing Sound Designer II 2.8?
A:
If you experience these errors during installation of Sound Designer II 2.8, you can install it manually. Simply drag Sound Designer II and the SDII Sample Rates folder from the floppy onto your HD within a folder, then copy the DigiSystem INIT into the System Folder's Extensions Folder andrestart the Mac. When you launch SDII, it will prompt you to insert the Install 1 disk for authorization. Authorize the HD with your Install 1 disk.
