Q:
When I try to launch Pro Tools LE 5.1 with my computer that has 128 MB of RAM, I get an error message that there is not enough memory. Do I need more RAM?
A:
Some users with Mac OS 9.1 systems have been unable to launch Pro Tools LE 5.1 with the bare minimum 128 MB RAM. Due to the increased RAM requirements of newer Apple computer models and Mac OS 9.1, Digidesign Technical Support strongly recommends that at least 192 MB of RAM is installed in these newer systems. More RAM also increases overall system and Pro Tools performance.
